Going for tacos later with a cute girl at a new place on the beach...
Opponinions on next car: I'm torn between a C5 Z06 for roughly $22,000 CDN, or trying to import a non-rusty 240Z from somewhere in the southern US and restomodding it...

if the girls really cute I say c5 because you should spend the resto mod time on "wrenching" on the girl. Also you may want to consider something with a back seat instead

I don't like getting rained/snowed/hailed on... and having a roof makes me feel like I have the illusion of safety

Kids in the back seat cause accidents.
Accidents in the back seat cause kids.
If I don't have back seats everything's fine, right? It can't baby, so it won't baby :P

Why not keep this car? Probably safer than C5, certainly safer than 240Z.

I'm gonna go take my eyeballs out behind the woodshed and shoot them to put out of their misery...
The only open topped vehicle or "convertible" I'd consider owning is this: and the new ones aren't legal in Canada

Because it's a base model, I want something with heated seats, more power, and a limited slip diff... and yes, I know I could put in heated seats, a turbo, and a LSD, but I'd never get that money back, so those are all good reasons for a C5.
240Z? Those are just plain cool classic cars

I know (remember, in toronto) but even in the states they are like 100k.

Heated seats, LSD, more power, getting money back? Massive truck

I've got a couple F-350s and an F-150 that I can borrow from work if I need to tow my dick around... this is for my fun

AA small car is fun, but when one doesn't drive a massive dually very often they can be just as fun. In a city it seems like the truck is Moses and traffic is the Red Sea

And parking one of them in a city is like trying to put a frigate in a fishtank....

Oddly I didn't have that problem. I mean it wasn't a massive metropolitan area but still.
